Associazione Italiana Cultura e Sport

AICS DANZA in an acronym for Associazione Italiana Cultura e Sport and is a non-profit institution recognized by CONI, born in Rome in 1962. The association deals with:

• Reiterate the importance of sport and culture;
• Emphasize the accessibility of sport;
• Organize and promote sport activities for both recreational and training purposes;
• Carry out coordination and representation activities for the associated institutions.

AISC DANZA is the result of the merger of two other associations: the Unione Circoli Sportivi Italiani (UCSI) and the Associazione Sportiva Socialisti Italiani (ASSI). Over time, thanks to his commitment not only in the sport field, the association has obtained many awards, for example from CONI and the Civil Protection Department. The main sectors in which AICS DANZA operates, are: 

• Sport;
• Environment;
• Youth and social policies;
• International policies;
• Relationship with MIUR;
• Culture and tourism.

AICS Sport Dance

The association organizes national dance sport competitions for all classes and categories. Participants must be registered and have a valid competitive sport certificate.

Competitions are open for couple, single and group dances.

As the official website reports, anyone can join AICSA, regardless of whether they are, association or individual citizen; the important thing is to share and respect their values. In the year 2019-2020, the association har more than one million members, the majority of them with a sporting interest. Among the reasons to join the membership, the benefits offered: tax benefits, agreements with SIAE and access to the national register of online instructors. 

Not only competitions, AICS is also very active with regard to training and has courses that cover not only dance, but all sports recognized.
