What’s ASC

ASC is an abbreviation for Attività Sportive Confederate and, as his official site says, is an Institution for the promotion of dance officially recognized by CONI. He works with the recognition of the Intern Ministry all over the Italian territory.

His main tasks are:

• Supporting affiliate institution and associations;
• Organize dance and cultural competitions at national level;
• Provide advice and update to his affiliation;
• Making sport accessible to anyone, regardless of physical performance or age;
• Promote voluntary activities in order to improve life quality;
• Build up areas for sport activities, working together with other institutions;
• Promote activities to start doing sports;
• Organize sport competitions in Italy.

ASC Membership

Anyone who wants to be a part of ASC, can require the membership to the specific institutions. At the moment, there are more than 400.000 members all over Italy, counting cultural institutions and associations. Being part of the membership, gives you some benefits, such as tax breaks and commercial agreements.

ASC has legal assistance for his affiliation, and a newsletter that allows you to be always updated. 

All the card-carrying people can also participate in competitions organized by the institution itself, having the possibility to be called for regional, national or international competitions.

ASC Dance

Speaking about the Sport Dance sector, ASC works in order to be present in Italy for the following disciplines:

• International dances: caribbean, standard and latin dances;
• Artistic dance
• Renaissance dance;
• Ballroom
• Cheerleading
• Paralympic dance
• Classic and academic dance
• Ethnic dance
